The White House has announced Saudi Arabia’s $600 billion commitment to invest in the United States just after Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and US President Donald Trump signed the Strategic Economic Partnership Document between both countries in Riyadh.

Both Saudi Arabia and US signed deals for cooperation in the fields of energy, defense, space, mineral resources as well as a memorandum of understanding with the Department of Justice, cooperation on infectious diseases and technology.

The White House called the deals with the Kingdom historic and transformative and “represent a new golden era of partnership between the United States and Saudi Arabia.”
