Sky News host Caleb Bond discusses Opposition Leader Peter Dutton’s push to potentially call a referendum on giving ministers the ability to “strip” dual citizens found guilty of serious crimes of their citizenship.

“Reports today Opposition Leader Peter Dutton was considering ways to grant government ministers the power to cancel the citizenship of dual nationals found guilty of serious crimes,” Mr Bond said.

“He was on Sunrise this morning appearing to open up the possibility of a referendum.”
