Pakistani troops continued ceasefire violations along the Line of Control for the ninth consecutive night with its unprovoked firing in Kupwara, Uri, and Akhnoor areas of Jammu and Kashmir, and the Indian military responded in a calibrated and proportionate manner.
This comes three days after India issued a stern warning to Pakistan over these repeated violations along the Line of Control (LoC) amid rising tensions between India and Pakistan following the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack.
