A woman testifying under the pseudonym “Jane” returned to the stand Monday in the ongoing case involving Sean “Diddy” Combs.
Jane, a former girlfriend of Combs, said she was unaware that several emotional phone calls between them were being recorded. The recordings were later seized from Combs’ assistant’s phones.
The calls took place after singer Cassie Ventura filed a civil lawsuit against Combs. Jane testified that parts of Ventura’s lawsuit mirrored her own experiences, despite never having communicated with her.
In the recordings, Jane expressed distress over past hotel encounters she says she repeatedly objected to, while Combs described them as “kinky” moments they both enjoyed. She also testified that Combs reassured her about financial support, implying she didn’t need to worry about her rent.
