U.S. trade representative Jamieson Greer testified before the Senate Finance Committee nearly a week after President Trump announced sweeping tariffs on all U.S. imports. Mr. Trump’s tariff plan set off three days of losses in the U.S. and global markets, but stocks rebounded Tuesday after the White House indicated it’s negotiating tariffs with a number of countries.
